I came across Issey Miyake’s A-POC (a piece of cloth) at the current Barbican exhibition ‘Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion’ I was fascinated by the garments created from one tubular piece of cloth, I had to find out and see more so I tracked down this book which documents the project and its exhibitions from 97-2001, I have just un wrapped this so Im looking forward now to enjoying it, packed with detailed Images and essay on the project.
